Your story matters. Share it.
Whether you’re in the middle of a faith transition, just beginning to ask questions, or have found a sense of peace after years of searching—your words can help someone else feel less alone.
Letters for the Journey is a space for sharing encouragement and hope from people navigating their faith with honesty, curiosity, and courage. These letters are personal, heartfelt reflections—stories of doubt, discovery, healing, and hope. While I have written the first 20 letters, I’d like to highlight letters written by people like you to others who are walking a similar path.
Don’t know what to write? You might:
- Reflect on a moment of loss, clarity, or transformation
- Share how you’ve found new meaning or rebuilt your sense of purpose
- Highlight what has given you peace
- Offer hope, advice, or encouragement to someone just starting their journey
- Describe what helped you feel less alone
- Write the letter you wish someone had given you
Your letter doesn’t need to be perfect—just honest. Write in your own voice. Speak from the heart.
How to Submit
- Write your letter and give it a suggested title.
- Email it to letters4thejourney@gmail.com
- That’s it!
We may lightly edit for clarity or flow, but we will never include your full name. Your letter will be published anonymously, using only the first letter of your name (e.g. —J., —M., —T.).
Why Your Letter Matters
When someone is questioning what they’ve always believed, or feeling the ground shift beneath them, a letter from someone who has been there can make all the difference.
Your words could be a light to someone walking through the dark.
So if you feel called, write. Share. And help build a library of letters for those who need them.
